This is why we are assessed annually by EcoVadis in various areas of sustainability. The overall EcoVadis rating reflects the quality of the company's sustainability management system.

Thanks to many years of cooperation with the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU), HACO AG was able to implement a PINCH* analysis with the professionals in 2022, drawing on the knowledge and network of the developers of the PINCH method.

HACO is committed to a fairer and more humane world and we expect the same from our suppliers.

Our partners

We can only achieve sustainability if we also hold our partners in the supply chain accountable. We expect them to comply with the same norms and standards that we do. They should carry out their activities in such a way that the impact on natural resources is as low as possible.

Supplier evaluation

HACO is expanding its sustainability system boundaries beyond its own processes. In addition to product specifications and quality questionnaires, sustainability issues have also been reviewed in the "Supplier's Guide" supplier evaluation tool since the end of 2021.

EcoVadis IQ Plus

Our suppliers are now asked to complete an individual sustainability assessment using the EcoVadis IQ Plus tool. The assessments are based on international standards and are incorporated into procurement processes and supplier audits once the rating has been completed.

Supplier Code of Conduct

Our Supplier Code of Conduct​​​​​​​ is based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and is binding for all suppliers who have a business relationship with companies belonging to the HACO Group.
